You can turn off the sun but Im still going to shine.

It cannot be denied that 2011 has been the best year yet. I have made the most amazing friends. I had the most amazing Summer imaginable. 2011 certainly was full of drama, but its all these events that shaped me for who I am today. I have learned to live without regrets, grasping every opportunity with open arms, at least that way you'l never have to ask yourself what if?

The year began with a bang. Celebrated the infamous countdown with all my friends.

Before we knew it, School was out... for some.

We celebrated out with the teachers..

Leaving cert was OVERR and the famous summer was among us. It is said that the Summer after the you finish the leaving cert is the one of the best summers youl EVER have.
With a few nights out in the shtoress celebrating the departing of the dreaded LC OYEGEN came quickly upon us.

I will never forget the day before oxygen. One of my best friends Susan & I spent the day in the beauticians, getting our tan and eyelashes done. We then headed over to tesco, braless && orange. Running into everyone we could do with not seeing. Went home finished packing. Poured all our drink (tequila, Jager, Cosmo, Vodka, Bulmers, Mickey fins) into plastic bottles, filled our massive pink suitcases full of clothes && decided on an early night. Woke up the next realised we had no tickets. But it was all s'graaand.

Single handidly the most AMAZING weekend of my loife! Ragingg its cancelled this year but totes going back next year :) Managed the spend the whole weekend with my besties. Something we normally cant manage on anight out. Think just about all of us k-o-ed on one of the nights. But it was s'grandbecause thats what we were there for ;)

Back from Oxegen feeling uuber depressed && hungover but managed to slowly get over it with our crazy social life!

August was quickly upon us. which ment the GRAAAAAD.bUt also results. Unforch results came first. Almost knew immediatly i would be repeating. Bit of a shock to the system but hey, everything happensforareason && to date its the best decision iv ever made. On a lighter not the gradd was as amazingas its made out to be. All those months && weeks of prep was totally worth it. Week before the grad with NO TRANSPORT organised, major brainstorming began. Initally we had planned a helicopter or fire engine, something real out there, but with less than a week till the grad going in cars was looking likeour only option.. UNTIL... Susans mammy came up the mad idea of getting a boat! Deffo Smeffo beat all the other ideas. Never felt so sick in my life after it but was totes worth it for the shnapss.

As soon as the grad was over. Reality hit me like a ton of bricks. While all my friends were going sorting out there accomodation I still hadnt made my mind up to what I wanted to do. Eventually after to-ing and fro-ing for weeks, i decided repeating would be the best option. Started 2 weeks late not noing a sinner I felt lost. Was no longer living with the rents, but still lacking freedom && missing my besties dearly. The weeks flew by && I have never looked back since. I have made the bestest of friends. Never imagined before that school could be something I actually looked forward to. Yeats is a far cry from Loreto. Feels like Iv been there my whole life. Had our first yeats night out october. Bit of a messy one but Ive since redeemed myself :D

Then it was my 19thhh. Didnt really doanything too wild. Went for Italian shared a bottle of wine. With suchgoodintentions to have a quite oneended up in stores. TOTALLY undressed by hey!

Quickly followed my EXAMS EXAMS EXAMS. Which led to lots of late night studying.

But it was worth it because i PASSED Irish! Not only passes but got a C3. Something I believed was never possible.

Then it was CHRISTMAS :D Had a few unreal nights out the all my friends which i missed dearly. Following our usual trend vvv messy christmas break but thats what I needed. Susan had thelast bottle of champers left from the grad, that was quickly downed the secit wasopedon Stephens night!

The final day of 2011 was quickly upon us. It was the countdown to the new year before we knew where we were.
